PRESSURE PROOF YOUR RIDE WITH MUSIC MOTIVATION

It is Equestrian Mental Fitness month in July here at Babcock Hill.  Riding is 70% mental! This seminar series an excellent way to reach your riding goals and overcome fears. We would like to welcome Liz Piacentini who will be presenting these fun unmounted seminars every Thursday evening in July from 6pm-8pm.  Learn more about Liz and what she does here:  http://betweenourears.com/estimates/  We will have snacks and beverages available.  All ages, disciplines and levels are welcome.  Cost is $25/session or $80 if you signup for all four.  

 

July 6th GOAL SETTING WORKSHOP FOR RIDERS – You don’t have to show to have Goals! Attendees learn the key elements of successful goal setting, create a positive plan, and receive tips for achieving their goals – not just setting them.  Get on track, stretch your comfort zone, and plan your progress!  

 

July 13th EQUESTRIAN MENTAL TOUGHNESS – Whether schooling or showing, what we think can impact how we ride! Understand effective strategies for maintaining a Positive Mindset. Plus, learn various Creative Imagery and Visualization techniques to help riders increase confidence, sharpen skills and perform at their best.

 

July 20th PRESSURE PROOF YOUR RIDE WITH MUSIC MOTIVATION – Mentally prepare for shows, clinics or a stressful ride using music motivation and techniques created by former USEF Coach, Daniel Stewart. Learn strategies for staying focused when the unexpected happens. These fun and effective skills help riders tackle show jitters and increase confidence when riding under pressure.

 

 July 27th PRESSURE PROOF PLANS & PREPARATIONS – Riders learn how to overcome the “what if’s” of worry through greater awareness of their thoughts, body language, breathing and routines. Worry doesn’t show up the day of a big ride, it starts creeping in sooner! Create personal pre-ride plans and rituals to get in the zone of concentration and ride at your best – even if you experience a mistake.
